On the eve of my birthday, I welcome to you my newly constructed website (andrafuller.com) and my recently created blog site (The Oxymoronic Gemini). Many of you may ask, "Exactly what does THAT mean and where does that phrase come from?" Well, it's a phrase that I made up which describes me very well and offers you a preview of the types of things that will be discussed here weekly. For those of you who don't know me, let me share some insight as to who I am...
I am a God fearing, proud Father who sometimes takes pride in saying some of the most outlandish things I can think of to get a reaction outta people. I am that popular kid in High School who stayed in the Principal's office, yet effectively charmed his way outta any serious trouble. I am a former collegiate athlete who graduate with a 4.0 from Graduate School by age 23. I have a wonderfully imaginative sense of humor but I'm not "Mr. Funny Man" all the time. I don't drink or do drugs. I'm not a saint, but I TRY to live right and treat people well. I'm not a thug, but some might say I'm a little rough around the edges with a splash of ghettoism. I'm not a pretty boy, but I like to look good which in turn, makes me feel great. I'm not conceited, but I am very confident in every aspect of my life.
I'm not a "Know it all", but I am a knowledgeable young man, who is well traveled and I know what I KNOW. I'm happy, but not go-lucky. I'm cocky, not arrogant. I'm GENUINE, not fraud. I'm enlightened, not a prophet. I'm inquisitive, not nosey. I'm a congratulator, not a hater. I'm outgoing, not a loud mouth. I work hard AND hardly work. I'm talkatively quiet. I'm competitive, I'm humble, I'm mischievous, I'm me. In a nutshell, I'm an anomaly of enigmatic contradictory thoughts and actions, therefore... I AM THE OXYMORONIC GEMINI.
